AUGUST 2007 MEETING HIGHLIGHTS

• Mary Hanson will be meeting with communities throughout the fall to obtain their input on trail development.



• A contest will be held to develop a corridor logo. Area schools will be invited to participate. A prize will be offered for the winning design.
  
  
• Communities should add the corridor information page to their web sites.
  
  
• District III is still seeking local trail maps to add to the regional database.
  
  
• The group will continue to work on brochure development, even though South Dakota grant funds were not forthcoming.
  
  
• The next meeting will be January 10, 2008 in Nebraska. The community will be determined later. Crofton was one suggestion.
