MISSOURI RIVER CORRIDOR MISSION STATEMENT

It is the mission of the Missouri River Corridor to promote the economic growth of the region by:

• Emphasizing cooperation amongst development interests
• Maximizing the use of the area's physical, cultural, and political assets
• Fostering community relationships that facilitate mutual understanding and unity
• Acting as a catalyst for measurable improvements in employment and investment

Corridor participants will strive to accomplish these goals by sharing information, technology, and resources in the following work areas:

• Visitor industry
• Business development
• Resource conservation
• Governmental and political affairs
• Education

The Corridor will act as a forum for issue discussion, a clearinghouse for the exchange of project ideas, and a platform for assessing cooperative opportunities.
