BIC SERVICES
The Business Information Center (BIC) is a comprehensive library that combines resources with technology to provide information, education, and training designed to help entrepreneurs start, operate, and expand their businesses. The BIC is conveniently located in the same building as District III, Areawide Business Council, and the Small Business Development Center.
The BIC provides FREE access to the resources necessary to help you:
- Write a business plan
- Improve your marketing techniques
- Diversify product and/or service areas
- Price products
- Explore exporting
- Manage employees more effectively
INFORMATION ACCESS
The BIC has a variety of reference materials, computer software, and equipment, such as:
- Microsoft® Office software
- Specialized business software
- Census data
- Business start-up manuals
- “How to” video tapes
- Internet access
- PCs, printers, and a scanner

HOURS & APPOINTMENTS
The BIC is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. BIC users are encouraged to make appointments to allow District III to better manage resources. Accommodations will be made for alternative times, if necessary. BIC users are subject to District III operational rules (examples: no materials are to leave the building).
